Okay, so I disappeared, but here is why... It all started in March with the Southwest Florida Reading Festival in Fort Myers. Fellow
Resplendence author, Lyn Armstrong, and I shared an exhibition table and got to know many readers up close. It was an all
day event which celebrated to joys books bestow. The evenings were rather entertaining on Florida's west coast. Great
fun and music, and we swear...we had no idea the Boston Red Sox were using the same hotel for spring training. We booked the
room strictly for the view:-)

April brought me to Lake County Florida for the 5th Annual Festival of Reading, Romancing the Book. The library
system and the people of the county were very friendly and so hospitable. Thanks Judy for organizing such a magnificent event.
It was fun meeting all your readers and have a chance to chat in the varying venues. You know how to throw a party. Raintree
Books, a privately owned store, was such a pleasure to deal with, and I'll be sure to keep you posted on future events
with them.
A special thank you to Dani, the IrishWolf from Coffee Time Romance, for driving to Eustes and making
my day. People like her make me smile.
While in Lake County, Lyn and I took an excursion to the Spiritualist Camp
in Cassedega, Florida. The inspiration was phenomenal, and you will see a flavor of it in current works in progress. I suggest
if you are ever in the proximity, to take an hour or two and experience the place. Skeptics and believers have much to gain
and learn from the residents and the energy of the land.
Now, since my laptop was packed and my family had accepted the fact that I wasn't home, I decided to swing
by Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the Romantic Times Convention. I was there for a full week and met so many wonderful people,
but I'll limit what I write because sometimes less said is better. LOL However, I will say, "I do believe it is not
butter."
So is there any writing news?
Sure is...
The Summer
Deal has been released & is available in both print and e-book on Resplendence Publishing, Amazon, Fictionwise, and Mobipocket

Here is a new review from The Long and The
Short of it Reviews: Demosthenis "Demo" Lakis, has had a rough day. He is looking to hire an assistant,
but all the candidates so far do not have the needed qualities. Then Samantha Mallone steps into his office and even though
she does not have the required experience, he hires her, hoping that he is not making a mistake. Soon, he realizes that he
likes her as more than an assistant. However, her life is in danger. To protect her he takes her out of the country to Greece.
But there he also faces a danger: loosing his heart!
Samantha "Sammy" Mallone, a fourth year law student,
is excited for the opportunity to work for Lakis International. With a boss like Demo, she can ask for nothing else. But trouble
is rearing its ugly head in the form of her abusive former fiancé, who will not leave her alone. Will she be safe in
Greece? Can she protect her life from her fiancé and her heart from Demo?
The Summer Deal was a sweet story
about love triumphing over evil. Demo and Sammy are everyday people trying to figure out the journey of love. This story was
made more enjoyable for me thanks to the fact that while reading it, you actually feel as if you are in a Greek environment.
The Greek words used and the culture explained authenticates the story and makes it more realistic. I also liked Sammy's
character who is strong enough to not let any man control her but wise enough to see the need for help in her particular situation.
I would recommend this novel to anyone looking for an entertaining and interesting read!
